While I was back in my home and native land this summer I made time for coffee with my blogging buddy and fellow Canadian, Mary Tod. She showed up with something exciting – an advance copy of her first book, Unravelled, about to be published! We spent some time swooning over the cover:
Mary has guest posted here about the business of writing, so I’m thrilled that business is booming for her!
She and Unravelled are on a whistle-stop, bang for your buck, blog tour. Today Mary chats about women heroes of World War One on the History With A Twist blog and tomorrow she has an article about the Top 10 Historical Fiction Authors (of which I’m sure she will one day be one) featured on the Washington Independent Review of Books. You can find full details of the itinerary, which stretches through to October, and includes some book giveaways, here.
Tomorrow is the official release date for Unravelled, but I couldn’t wait. I’ve already bought my Kindle version from Amazon UK. You can buy the book in Canada here and the US here. And Mary’s blog, A Writer of History, is a gem for readers and writers of historical fiction.
And here’s me, with the author, back in August. (If you’re wondering why we’re in a toy store, let’s just say I had two chaperones on the coffee date.)
Congratulations again, Mary!
